Revolution 2016:

As people know, at Angel’s Duel we announced the dates and games lined up for the tournament. This will be the biggest Revolution ever in terms of industry partners, things to do and tournaments. With main show confirmed and ready to go we will be doing all sorts of exciting things on the road to Revolution and how we can make it our biggest and most expansive event yet.

Bolney Meadow Community Centre
31 Bolney Street

We have 9 main games to show case Europe’s talent over the course of 3 days:

The games line up:

  • Blazblue (PS4)
  • Guilty Gear Revelator (PS4)
  • Nitroplus Blasterz (PS4)
  • Skullgirls (PS4)
  • Dengenki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition (PS4)
  • Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (PS3)
  • Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late (PS3)
  • Arcana Heart 3 Love Max!!!!! (PS3)

And if the release of this game is out before then:

Final Fantasy: Dissidia (PS4)

One of the more interesting additions to our game list is Skullgirls. Skullgirls has taken the spot of Melty Blood to give the game a chance and to retire Melty Blood as the game has quite a few logistical issues that don’t fit in well with the rest of the tournament. Considering the amount of Melty enthusiasts I’m sure there will be a side tournament for it somewhere in the weekend.

The format of the tournament will follow something similar to last year. This is to make it so people don’t have to commit for the whole weekend for the game they want to play (Even though we want you to stay all weekend :P). So don’t expect much change there.

Seeding will be more interesting due to how we will distribute them this time around. Starting from April we will have a full and complete event list where people can see which tournaments will be able to implement those seeding points for Revolution 2016. While the original list will only be preliminary, more events will be added over time to make a full season of events. If any tournaments will like to be added to the list just make sure you contact NGI over social media or by e-mail and we’ll see if we can sort things out.

We’ll have more information soon on what’s to come on Revolution so keep an eye out.
